It’s been just over a year since we launched our new undercounter range. Made in Staffordshire, the simplified range, has less models but more features. Every element of the design embodies ‘the power of simple’, an ethos that runs throughout our business. Now in 2025, the impact speaks for itself.
This was the result of years of planning, research, and development and a decision driven by our commitment to making life a little simpler for all those working in the hospitality industry.
The streamlined range makes selection simpler without compromising on quality or features.
In fact, we added more. Every model comes standard with a drain pump, rinse booster pump, detergent and rinse aid pumps, double-skinned cabinets and doors, a deep clean mode, refresh cycle, energy-saving standby, and hygiene and service reminders.
With all essential features built in, customers only need to choose the size and power level and add a water softener if needed. Upon installation, each machine is commissioned as either a glasswasher or dishwasher.
As our UK Managing Director, Andy Salter puts it:
“In these competitive times, success comes from understanding what makes your business unique and delivering value in every detail. Classeq’s focus has always been about increasing value for our customers so that we can balance affordability and value against ever increasing business costs.”
Now, over twelve months on, we can confidently say this decision has paid off!
A year of innovation and impact
Hospitality never stands still. It demands innovation, efficiency, and reliability, which is exactly what our new undercounter range delivers.
Something always calls for us to adapt, improve, and move forward. As the hospitality experience constantly evolves, all teams must have the right tools, systems, and equipment in place to ensure success.
Reliable and efficient warewashing is vital for smooth operations, ensuring clean glassware and tableware are always ready, keeping kitchens running efficiently, and supporting chefs and kitchen porters.
That’s precisely why we developed our new range: to provide a product that makes one part (our part) of everyday operations as simple and efficient as we can.
Our distributor network has praised the simplicity of the range. With just four machine variants, matching customers with the right solution is now easier than ever. The streamlined offering eliminates unnecessary complexity, making the sales process faster and more straightforward.
Our UK Sales Manager, Nick Burridge said not long after launch:
"The response to our Undercounter range has been overwhelmingly positive. Despite reducing our models from 16 to 4, the enhanced features have been welcomed, and customer feedback has been fantastic. It's clear that people want a Classeq machine, and our options deliver precisely what they're looking for."
Operators love the reliability, ease of use, and quality of wash results of Classeq machines, and they know they can depend on the robust nature of a Classeq machine to keep up with high demand.
With the new machines redesigned inside and out, service engineers also appreciate how key components are easily accessible from the front panel, speeding up all servicing tasks.
The power of simple
We’ve always believed that simplicity is more than a design principle; it’s a way of working.
The hospitality industry is fast-paced and demanding, and we recognise that equipment should support that, not add to the stress.
By investing in R&D and refining our range, we’ve removed unnecessary confusion and created a product line that works better for everyone. Our customers no longer have to wade through endless options or pay extra for 'essential' features. These are now standard on every new undercounter model.
Our R&D and innovation never stop, the team simply move from one project to the next, striving to ensure Classeq machines are always meeting the needs of the industry.
A commitment to the industry
This launch was just as much about reinforcing our commitment to the hospitality industry as it was about introducing our new machines.
The industry has faced challenge after challenge in recent years.
We appreciate that running a hospitality business is hard enough - add to that the minimum wage increase, NI increases, and operational challenges, and we wanted our users and networks to know we are doing everything we can to support them. And the last thing operators need is overly complicated equipment, adding to their stress.
Innovative features that enhance user experience
One of the standout features of the new undercounter range is the click-in, click-out wash arms, which were designed for effortless removal and cleaning.
Operators and service engineers have particularly well received this feature as it simplifies essential cleaning, and maintenance.
The Bluetooth-enabled app was also a welcome addition. This has modernised how users interact with our machines. Operators and technicians can adjust settings, monitor performance, and access user manuals, all from their mobile devices. This connectivity also gives users the power to troubleshoot minor issues independently.
Supporting hospitality at all levels
Classeq machines are designed to serve all kinds of hospitality and service environments, whether they’re pubs, restaurants, hotels, schools, care homes, churches, exhibition centres, sports stadiums, or hospitals.
Warewashing isn’t a luxury; it’s an essential part of keeping operations smooth, efficient, and hygienic. The right machine, a Classeq machine of course, ensures efficiency, productivity, and a seamless daily flow in any venue.
With reliability, simplicity, and innovation built into every model, our latest Undercounter range is helping businesses across the industry work smarter, not harder.
Positive feedback and meeting the industry’s needs.
The feedback from stakeholders has been overwhelmingly positive. Distributors appreciate the streamlined product range, making the sales process faster and more focused on finding the right fit for each client.
Operators have praised the machines' user-friendly interfaces and robust performance, telling us how these attributes have contributed to smoother daily operations.
Service engineers have also reported favourable experiences regarding the range’s straightforward maintenance procedures. The thoughtful design, which allows easy access to critical components, has reduced service times and improved machine uptime, benefiting customers’ bottom lines.
This past year has proven that investing in simplicity can benefit the industry, so we’re not stopping here.
We’re already looking at how we can apply the same principles of efficiency and usability to our broader range, and new product upgrades are planned for later in the year. Watch this space.
